[INTRO]

Yeah.
Whole court looking pretty.
Whole court drowning too.

[VERSE 1]

Black tide, shark eyes, cut through the ballroom,
Pearls on my neck and the blood in the salt bloom.
Seaweed wrapped round my thighs in the dark pool.
Girls kiss boys.
Baby, I never learned that rule.

Shipwreck ribs where I sleep when the moon low,
Rust on the hull and the lanternfish glow.
Whole High Court whisper when I walk slow,
Say I got teeth where a lady shouldn’t show.

I bench the mast.
I drag the net.
I fight too hard.
They don’t forget.
Soft little princes in lace and perfume,
Meanwhile I smell like the storm and the tomb.

[PRE-CHORUS]

Coralline dancing in gold light.
Whole room turning whenever she walks by.
I keep my jaw tight.
Smile sharp.
Glass knife.

[CHORUS]

She want the crown boys.
I want her heartbeat.
Salt on my lips and the cut where the reef be.
Whole damn ocean saying I should let it go,
But I still swim circles round every boy she knows.

Deep water.
Cold daughter.
Born where the ship chains swing.
If she won’t love me back tonight,
I’ll make the whole reef fucking ring.

[VERSE 2]

Boys pull up with their gold tooth swagger,
I throw one look and their whole voice stagger.
Big wave body with the rope-burn shoulders,
Carry my own damn anchor holders.

Court girls laugh when I walk in leather,
Till the flood lights hit and they break together.
I ain’t built sweet.
I ain’t built small.
Built to survive when the black waves fall.

Found her once by the old wreck gate,
Hair full of pearls and the tide ran late.
She touched my wrist.
That ruined me.
Now every shark in the sea got teeth.

[PRE-CHORUS]

Coralline glowing in blue flame,
Everybody wanting a piece of her name.
I keep acting untamed,
But every fight feels the same.

[CHORUS]

She want the crown boys.
I want her heartbeat.
Salt on my lips and the cut where the reef be.
Whole damn ocean saying I should let it go,
But I still swim circles round every boy she knows.

Deep water.
Cold daughter.
Born where the ship chains swing.
If she won’t love me back tonight,
I’ll make the whole sea fucking sing.

[VERSE 3]

I learned young love ain’t built for girls like me,
Too loud. Too hard. Too hungry. Too deep.
So I turned my ribs into armor plates,
Turned heartbreak into tidal waves.

Now I swim alone through cathedral wrecks,
Hands black with oil from the fisher nets.
Pray to no gods.
Sleep with ghosts.
Still hear her laugh in the undertow.

[FINAL CHORUS]

Let the crown boys drown.
I don’t need saving.
Built from the dark where the old ships breaking.
Whole damn ocean trying to bury me whole,
But I came back harder with salt in my soul.

Deep water.
Cold daughter.
Watch how the black tide swing.
If she won’t love me back tonight,
Just watch the heat I’ll fucking bring.

[OUTRO]

The character

Meet Sable Fin

Sable Fin is what the High Court calls improper when it means uncontrollable. She is a salvage diver, fighter, and force of physical confidence who has built armor from every rejection. Her swagger is real, but so is the devotion underneath it—especially where Coralline is concerned. The role requires muscular rhythm, humor, vulnerability, and explosive stage command.

Voice & presencePop-rap power · low register · stadium-sized release
After curfew · The old wreck gateSable Fin

Court boys perfume their gloves before a duel. By the time they finish bowing, I have already decided which knee will fold first.

Coralline touched my wrist once. Two fingers. Half a breath. I have dragged anchors that weighed less than that moment.

Let the whole reef whisper. The sea gave me teeth because asking nicely never opened a gate.

Sable Fin

Build the silhouette

Costume tells us who she is before she speaks.

No prescribed face, hair, skin tone, or ethnicity. Bring yourself. Use these materials as character clues, not a uniform.

Wardrobe language
  • Black salvage leather softened by salt and motion
  • Asymmetric harness with anchor-chain hardware
  • Storm-dark trousers built for dance and combat
  • One stolen court detail worn like a dare
Styling signature
  • The silhouette is grounded, asymmetrical, and ready to move
  • Scars, tattoos, hair, and makeup are interpretive—not casting requirements
  • One refined detail from Coralline’s world should sit against the salvage armor
Personal effects
  • Shark-tooth charm on a plain cord
  • Oil-dark gloves and a broken crown fragment
  • A small repair kit for nets, engines, or hearts
  • Pearl button found at the old wreck gate
